Grammer AG, September 19, 2022 – Focus on innovative seating solutions: Grammer will be showcasing its full range of OEM and aftermarket products at IAA Transportation (Stand A-10, Hall 23) from September 20 to 25, 2022. The company is presenting its compact MSG 90.7 driver seat for trucks and buses for the first time. With its innovative Ubility One passenger seat family, Grammer is providing sustainable answers to the requirements of tomorrow’s urban passenger transportation.

“At long last, trade shows are back on again! We are very pleased to be back in Hannover after a four-year break from the IAA due to the pandemic and to present our innovations as a leading player in global business for commercial vehicle seats,” says Dr. Andreas Diehl, President Division Commercial Vehicles, Grammer AG.

New for trucks and buses: compact driver seat in a smart design
The focus will be on the new MSG 90.7, a driver seat incorporating the latest ergonomic findings with innovative features such as multi-stage belt height adjustment, smart controls, haptic warning systems and adjustable shoulder support. With the MSG 90.7, Grammer is offering OEMs a seat with compact dimensions that is ideally suited for space-efficient cabs in the high-volume medium and heavy-duty truck segment. This new product complements Grammer’s range of professional workplaces that enable low-fatigue and concentrated driving on medium and long hauls in freight transport as well as in bus transport.

MSG platform with many options as standard and retrofit seats for trucks
Grammer is presenting to its OEM customers its current full range of driver and passenger seats in Hannover, reflecting the diversity of the modular MSG platform with its numerous customer-specific equipment and design variants: from the compact MSG 90.6 to the top-of-the-line MSG 115. With the Cinema Seat, Grammer has an innovative passenger seat in its range that heightens space, safety and possible uses in the cabin through various swivel and folding options. Frequently rated the best in its class, Grammer’s ergonomics and proven seating comfort are also available as a retrofit solution in the current Roadtiger program. Professional drivers can try out the models that have recently been awarded the LGA certificate from TÜV Rheinland in recognition of their outstanding ergonomics.

Urban passenger transport rethought: Ubility One
With Ubility One, Grammer is addressing the needs of all market participants: Ubility One offers comfort for passengers combined with efficiency and flexibility for vehicle OEMs and public transport operators, while meeting society’s expectations for sustainable, climate-neutral products. All three seat models – Ubility Light, Ubility Air, Ubility Shift – feature an unusual design, innovative lightweight construction, consistent orientation to the circular economy and a pleasant surprise when you take a seat in them.
