Amberg, July 6, 2000 – Wolfgang Steinbach (50), Grammer AG Man-agement Board member responsible for the Passenger Seats Division and for the commercial sections at Head Office, has resigned from the Company as at June 30, 2000 owing to a difference of opinion on the Company’s strategy. Steinbach had been a member of the Management Board since 1994.
The Passenger Seats Division which Steinbach had been responsible for will initially be managed by Board member Peter Nagel (53), and the commercial sections at Head Office will be managed in the interim by Dr. Bernd Blankenstein (62), CEO of the Company since July 1, 2000. Martin Grammer (40) remains in charge of the Automobile Fittings Division.
