New-generation Roadtiger seats setting new standards
Grammer’s new-generation Roadtiger seats set new standards in their segment in terms of driver-seat comfort and ergonomics and can be retrofitted to the cabins of leading European truck OEMs. Interior specialist Grammer attaches prime importance to design the selection of materials and ergonomics: the Roadtiger driver seats will be available in three versions – Standard, Comfort and Luxury. Only materials of the highest quality are used. Thus, the Luxury version features leather of a quality found in the automotive luxury class. The Europe-wide launch of the Roadtiger seating systems is planned for fall 2018.
“Truck drivers are exposed to heavy strain while they are on the job, causing health risks to the spine in particular. Our aim is to offer seats that heighten the driver’s comfort and concentration and reduce the risk of fatigue. This is precisely what our new-generation Roadtiger seats offer, namely ergonomic seating comfort and a series of further features to address the truck driver’s individual needs. These include, for example, the enhanced suspension system and optimized seat climate control,” says Ralf Hoppe, press officer at Grammer AG.
